Eschol Park Public School opened in 1985 and quickly developed a tradition of innovation.

The school currently has 14 classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. In 2010 all learning environments were refurbished and two new permanent classrooms established. The school's large library now contains the Connected Classroom learning environment and the computer lab. The audio visual room attached to the Library is a central focus for the school. The school's computer network has been revamped to provide better, faster access to the internet. The school hall and large Council sporting fields which adjoin the school, provide a resource which is well used by the school and its community.

A wide range of programs and activities designed to involve all students aim to equip students with the skills to participate in an increasingly complex society. These programs include the school's

  • public speaking program,
  • senior students CPR training,
  • fitness programs to promote an active lifestyle,
  • leadership programs through the School Parliament, and
  • annual camping programs for Stage 2 and Stage 3 students.

The school participates in:

  • Premier's Sporting Challenge
  • Premier's Reading Challenge
  • Premier's Spelling Bee
  • Area Public Speaking
  • Multicultural Competitions.

Sport is an integral part of school life at Eschol Park Public School. The school's active Learning Support Team provides support for a diverse range of students with learning, social and physical needs. The staff are experienced and dedicated to their teaching profession. Staff are kept abreast of current teaching and learning practices and programs through weekly professional training opportunities. Staff are encouraged to develop their professional skills and knowledge by attending outside professional learning opportunities.
